We are currently seeking volunteers with mild, moderate, or severe kidney impairment to participate in a clinical research study evaluating an investigational medication. Participation in this study may help advance future treatment options and contribute to important medical research.

  • Impaired kidney function can affect absorption, plasma protein binding, or distribution of a drug. Impaired kidney function can alter drug metabolism and transport pathways in the liver and gut; thus, there is potential for kidney impairment to also affect drugs that are predominantly cleared non-renally.

Why participate?

  • You’ll be fully informed about all aspects of the trial before consenting to participate. 
  • You’ll receive $50-$400  per day in consideration of your time and effort.

Commitment:

  • 1 screening
  • 1 inpatient stay of 5 nights/ 6 days
  • 1 follow up phone call

  • Up to $3565 total for study participation time and effort

Kidney Disease

We are looking for men and women with kidney impairment for paid clinical trials at our comfortable St. Paul location.

  • You will have access to WiFi, TVs, games and receive free medical exams
  • Overnight stays in our easily accessible St. Paul center are required for most studies
  • There is a wide variety of start dates and study schedules
  • You will be reimbursed up to $350/day for your time and travel. If needed, we can arrange transportation for you


If you have access to your latest labs, we will ask for your most recent serum creatinine later in this form. We will also ask for your current medications/doses, you can either fill out on this form or give them over the phone with the recruitment officer.

Medical history




  • Using a condom + your female partner(s) using a separate form of birth control.
  • You or your partner(s) had a vasectomy/hysterectomy
  • Your partner(s) are post-menopausal
  • Abstinence from heterosexual sex for at least 1 month prior to screen and throughout study


Only you taking birth control or your partner(s) using a condom is not an acceptable option, but using both together is.

  • You using birth control + your male partner(s) using a condom
  • You or your partner(s) had a hysterectomy/vasectomy
  • You are post-menopausal
  • Abstinence from heterosexual sex for at least 1 month prior to screen and throughout study



We define an allergy as severe if symptoms include mouth/throat/face swelling, shortness of breath or a whole-body rash.




We regularly have studies that allow for/require participants with medical conditions.
