The Ignition Study
Currently Recruiting

Up to $2,900

This clinical study is investigating a potential new medication for weight loss and obesity. The study drug is delivered orally which is easier to take than many other current comparable medications. Researchers believe that this study drug may help with body composition, enhance muscle function and improve glucose and lipid metabolism as it targets different pathways compared to other weight loss medications.
By conducting this study, researchers hope to gain a better understanding of the medication and how it behaves in different populations, which may help support future clinical development and the design of larger studies to help people with weight loss and obesity.

This is a first-in-human (FIH) study, meaning it is the first time the potential treatment is being tested in people. The study has been carefully designed with strict safety protocols and has been approved by an independent ethics committee. It is not known whether the study drug may cause unexpected, serious, or life-threatening side effects. While these are considered unlikely, you will be carefully monitored throughout the study and provided with prompt treatment if any such effects occur.
Before joining, you’ll receive detailed information about the study, meet with a doctor, and have the chance to ask any questions.
