The Alfred Hospital visitor’s car park is located next to our building on Centre Lane. Prahran Market parking (163 Commercial Rd) is a 10-minute walk with metered parking on Commercial Rd & Moubray St.

Public Transport

Nucleus Network is located near public transport. You can get timetable and ticket information from Public Transport Victoria.

The nearest train station is Prahran Station, on Greville Street. This station is serviced by the Sandringham line, with trains connecting to Flinders Street and Richmond Stations.

Hanger Lane Station (Central Line) – 15 mins walk

Take subway exit S2, turn right up the ramp, and walk along pavement for about 5 mins, taking left fork over bridge. At the roundabout in front of the large glass Diageo building, take the second exit towards the next roundabout (200 m). There, take the second exit onto Rainsford Rd. The long white building to your right is HMR. Ignore the car park entrance on Rainsford Rd, and walk on to the next roundabout. Turn right down Cumberland Avenue – the entrance for volunteers is a side gate just around the corner.

Park Royal Station (Piccadilly line) – 10 mins walk

Turn right out of station, turn right and go under the subway. Keep going straight, on the metal bridge over the railway, then under a road bridge. Turn right and go up the ramp to the roundabout on Coronation Rd where you take the second exit onto Rainsford Rd, and walk on to the next roundabout. Turn right down Cumberland Avenue – the entrance for volunteers is a side gate just around the corner.

From Central Middlesex Hospital – 7 mins walk

Walk up to the traffic lights in front of the hospital, near NatWest and Cafe Royal. Take a right turn up Abbey Road, walking past Cafe Royal. At the first roundabout take a left down Cumberland Avenue. Walk almost to the end of Cumberland Avenue – HMR is the white, 4-storey building on the left.
