This clinical study is investigating a new oral medication for plaque psoriasis, a chronic autoimmune condition which can lead to raised patches of dry and itchy skin. The purpose of the study is to better understand the safety of the medication, how it is processed by the body, and how the body responds to it. By conducting this study, researchers hope to gain a better understanding of the medication and how it behaves in different populations, which may help support future clinical development and the design of larger studies in people with plaque psoriasis.
This study is sponsored by a pharmaceutical company.

This is a first-in-human (FIH) study, meaning it is the first time the investigational treatment is being tested in people. The study has been carefully designed with strict safety protocols and has been approved by an independent ethics committee. It is not known whether the study drug may cause unexpected, serious, or life-threatening side effects. While these are considered unlikely, you will be carefully monitored throughout the study and provided with prompt treatment if any such effects occur.
Before joining, you’ll receive detailed information about the study, meet with a doctor, and have the chance to ask any questions.
