What to expect at our Brisbane clinical trials clinic

Across our global network, our purpose remains the same: advancing medicine and improving lives. That’s why we’re committed to prioritising participant safety, care and comfort through our clinic spaces.

What’s involved

Taking part in a clinical study at Nucleus Network can involve a combination of in-clinic stays, follow-up visits and phone calls. For each study, your schedule is clearly planned out and explained to you well before you even attend your first visit.

While each study schedule is different, our approach to supporting participants remains the same.

Throughout your experience, you’ll be supported by our team of experts, including nurses, medical officers, project managers, and support staff, who keep your safety and wellbeing front of mind.

When arriving at our Brisbane clinic to take part in a clinical study, you’ll head to Level 5 to check in. From there, our team will confirm your details and talk you through what comes next.

Your time at our Brisbane clinical trials clinic

Our clinic spaces are set up with your comfort in mind. You’ll have a proper bed, space for your belongings, and entertainment options to help you relax between scheduled study activities.

When you’re taking part in a clinical study with us at Nucleus Network, you’ll have plenty of downtime between procedures. During this time, we want you to remain connected with who and what matters to you.

You’ll have access to free Wi-Fi throughout your stay, helping you keep in touch with family and friends, as well as staying on top of work, study or your favourite shows. Many of our participants use downtime during a stay to keep up with work or study.

We’ve created spaces and routines designed to support comfort, clarity and wellbeing during your stay. That includes fortnightly therapy dog visits, social activities and friendly competitions to help break up long days, and quiet spaces when you need time to yourself. You’ll also find gaming options, shared areas and modern facilities designed to make time in clinic more comfortable.
