We’re currently inviting healthy volunteers to take part in a clinical study evaluating a potential new treatment for cystic fibrosis.
The study will look at how study drug SION-451 interacts with midazolam, a commonly used medication. Midazolam is not being used for anxiety or sedation in this study, but rather to help determine whether SION-451 affects how similar drugs are processed in the body.

Purpose:
This study is a drug-drug interaction (DDI) study, which means it evaluates the effect that one drug has on the breakdown of another drug. This study will investigate whether there is the potential for a drug-drug interaction between study drug SION-451 andmidazolam commonly used for anxiety or sedation.

Foods to avoid: Avoid cruciferous vegetables, charcoal-grilled meats, and poppy seeds for 48 hours before Day 1 through the entire trial
