At the Nucleus Network clinic in Minneapolis/St. Paul we specialize in clinical trials with people who have kidney disease. We perform these trials in collaboration with Kidney Specialists of Minnesota, and we also have our own team of medical experts.

These clinical trials play a vital role in the development of new medication. They play an essential role in ensuring that people with kidney impairment receive the correct dose of medication. We are always looking for new participants!

    • Age: 18-80
    • BMI: 18.5-40.0 kg/m2
    • Medications: Approved on case-by-case basis.
    • Compensation: up to $6,850
    • Smoking Status: non-smokers or smokers must agree to consume no more than 10 cigarettes or equivalent/day during the study treatment period.

    Eligibility
    • Age: 18-85
    • BMI: 19.0 - 40.0 kg/m2
    • Medication: Medications must be stable for at least 2 weeks before the screening visit and will need to remain stable until the last PK sample of the study.
    • Smoking: No more than 5 cigarettes per day while inpatient and no more than 10 cigarettes (or equivalent) per day before the study
    • Compensation: Up to $4,600.00

    Eligibility
    • Age: 18-80
    • BMI: 18.5-38 kg/m2
    • Medication: A stable medication regimen is required, defined as not starting new drug(s) or changing dosage(s) within 14 days prior to administration of study intervention
    • Compensation: up to $5,600
    • Smoking status: If the participant smokes tobacco, the participant must agree to smoke no more than 10 cigarettes per day from study entry until the Follow-up/Early Termination visit.

    Eligibility
    • Age: >18
    • BMI: 17.5-45.4 kg/m2
    • Medications: Stable concomitant medications for the management of medical conditions relevant to an individual participant’s medical history.
    • Compensation: up to $3,022 for study completion
    • Smoking history: Abstain from use of tobacco- or nicotine-containing products for a minimum of 2 hours before all vital signs and ECG measurements, and for a minimum of 2 hours before and after study drug dosing.
