Dr. Trisha Shamp brings over 20 years of leadership in Phase I–IV clinical trials to Nucleus Network, where she serves as Vice President of Medical Services for our U.S.-based clinical research unit. A recognized global leader in renal pharmacokinetics (PK), she is highly sought after by pharmaceutical and biotech companies for her expertise in renal PK study design, execution, and regulatory strategy.
Leveraging her extensive professional network and respect among clinical peers, Dr. Shamp has been instrumental in accelerating proof‑of‑concept (POC) studies, enabling faster progression from preclinical discovery to early‑phase clinical validation. Her leadership has positioned Nucleus Network as a preferred partner for sponsors seeking efficient, high‑quality early‑phase trial execution.
Under her direction, Nucleus Network has developed a state‑of‑the‑art dialysis program to support special population studies in patients with renal impairment. As a clinical pharmacologist, Dr. Shamp provides expert consultation in protocol development, PK/PD modeling, bioanalysis strategy, drug safety, and pharmacovigilance—ensuring all trials meet ICH/GCP compliance and the highest standards of scientific rigor.
In addition to her research accomplishments, Dr. Shamp continues to work clinically in critical care medicine, holding certifications as a Cardiovascular PA, Hemodialysis and Adult ECMO. She is also a respected educator in clinical pharmacology and critical care medicine, training the next generation of healthcare professionals across the U.S. Her portfolio includes first‑in‑human (FIH) studies, complex trial design in critical care pharmacology, and regulatory engagement with agencies worldwide.
