The Bridge Study

This clinical study is exploring a potential new treatment for ulcerative colitis (UC). UC is a chronic autoimmune condition which causes inflammation and damage to the lining of the bowel.
People with ulcerative colitis often experience ongoing inflammation, damage to the bowel lining, and increased stress on cells. Although there are treatments available, many people do not respond well to them or experience side effects. Due to this, new treatment options are still needed.
The study drug is designed to activate a natural pathway in the body which helps reduce inflammation, protect cells from damage and support healing of the bowel lining.
