The Helix Study
Currently Recruiting
4 Dec to 27 Dec 2025
Up to $9,140
We are conducting a clinical trial to evaluate a new investigational treatment in participants without any known medical condition. This study aims to assess the safety, tolerability, and how the body processes the medication under different conditions, including variations in food intake and age.
The investigational treatment is being developed as a potential future therapy for conditions involving abnormal protein stability and organ health, including AL amyloidosis. This is the first step before testing its effectiveness in patients.
Join our clinical trial
This is a first-in-human (FIH) study, meaning it is the first time this investigational treatment is being evaluated in humans. This clinical trial has been carefully designed to minimize risks for participants. Prior to participation, you will be provided with detailed information about the trial, its risks, and our mitigation strategies. You will also have an appointment with one of our doctors, who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Why participate?
- Contribute to scientific research that may support the development of future treatment options.
- Help researchers understand how the investigational drug is absorbed and processed in the body.
- Play a key role in determining how factors like food and age may influence the drug’s effects.
As a participant, you’ll receive the study medication and undergo assessments to monitor how your body responds. Your involvement will provide essential data that can help guide future research.
