Purpose: to evaluate the safety and tolerability of a potential new drug for weight management in patients with kidney impairment compared to those with normal kidney function.

Participate in a clinical study for an investigational medication for weight management.

Reimbursement for study participation will be provided for time and travel of up to $4,600.00.

There is one screening appointment, one inpatient stay of 6 days / 5 nights, and 3 outpatient visits.

This study has been reviewed and approved by an independent ethics committee.

Transportation may be arranged to and from the Nucleus clinic for appointments.

Eligibility

Age: 18-85
BMI: 19.0 - 40.0 kg/m2
Medication: Medications must be stable for at least 2 weeks before the screening visit and will need to remain stable until the last PK sample of the study.
Smoking: No more than 5 cigarettes per day while inpatient and no more than 10 cigarettes (or equivalent) per day before the study
Compensation: Up to $4,600.00
