Participate in a clinical study of a potential treatment for weight gain while taking psychiatric medication.

This study has 1 screening appointment, 1 inpatient stay of 16 nights/ 17 days and 1 outpatient visit and 1 follow up phone call.

Reimbursement for study participation will be provided for time and travel of up to $9,090.

Eligibility

Age: 18-50
BMI: 18-27.5 kg/m2
Medication: After the screening visit, please do not take any new prescription or over-the-counter medications, herbal remedies, or nutritional supplements such as multivitamins from your screening visit and until after your final visit without the approval of the study investigator. You are allowed to take acetaminophen (Tylenol) after the screening visit.
Contraception: Willing to adhere to the contraception requirements for this study
Smoking Status: Smokers are allowed, however, not allowed to smoke while inpatient.
Dose Administration: Must be able to consume a High-fat meal on Days 1, 8, and 15 within 15 minutes.
