The goal of the study is to determine the safety of the vaccine and measure how strongly it triggers the body’s immune response. Blood samples will be taken to assess whether there are antibodies to the vaccine and whether this response will protect you from getting infected with Coronavirus in the future.

You will not be exposed to coronavirus during this trial and the virus is not used in the manufacture of this vaccine. The vaccine contains a protein that closely resembles something on the surface of the virus; this is manufactured in the lab and not made from a live virus.

The trial has been approved by an independent ethics committee and participants will be reimbursed for their time.
