The purpose of this study is to investigate a potential new treatment for bacterial, fungal, or mixed vaginitis that has the potential to act more rapidly than other treatments for mixed vaginitis
Vaginal infections are common infections of the female reproductive tract and can be classified into more than ten types depending on the cause of the infection. Mixed vaginitis is a vaginal infection caused by two or more pathogenic microorganisms that is difficult to diagnose and treat.
It is hoped that this drug would provide a more effective treatment than the other drugs that are currently available.
The trial has been approved by an independent ethics committee and eligible participants will be reimbursed for their time.
