The Matching Study (Brisbane)

This study drug is being developed as a potential new treatment for pain caused by osteoarthritis, which is a disorder that affects the joints (knees, hips, hands etc).

Because ethnicity may have an impact on how medication is metabolised, the purpose of this study is to compare how this study drug is metabolised by people of Caucasian, Chinese or Japanese ethnicity. This data may be used to prepare for future clinical studies.

** For this cohort, participants must be of Japanese ethnicity (born in Japan)**

The trial has been approved by an independent ethics committee and participants will be reimbursed for their time.

Eligibility

Biological Sex Healthy males and females of non-childbearing potential (post-menopausal or surgically sterile)
Born In Japan
Age 20-65 years old inclusive
BMI 18 - 29.9 kg/m²
Body Weight 45 - 100kg
Medical History No significant medical history
Medications Not taking any medication
Smoking History Non-smokers and casual smokers only (no more than 5 cigarettes per week)
